Creating Scalable Knowledge Systems for Product Adoption

Designing the infrastructure behind effective product adoption

CONTEXT

Digital learning platform

ORGANIZATION

ScholarRx

Problem

As ScholarRx’s educational platform expanded, onboarding faculty and institutional partners became increasingly difficult to sustain. Product knowledge was spread across workshops, presentations, one-to-one support, and documentation, creating inconsistent experiences and increasing reliance on live support.

The challenge was to design a scalable knowledge ecosystem that delivered the right information, in the right format, at the right moment.

Approach

Rather than creating more documentation, I designed a knowledge ecosystem where every resource had a distinct role in supporting product adoption.

Understand where users needed structured learning,
reference material, or live guidance.

Analyze recurring questions, support requests,
and implementation pain points.

Create complementary learning resources that work together to guide users from onboarding to independent product use.

Evidence

What I learned

A product’s success is not determined solely by its features. It depends on how easily people understand its purpose, develop confidence using it, and apply it in their own context.

Designing learning, documentation, and support as a connected system transformed onboarding from a collection of isolated resources into an intentional user experience.
